Hudson loves the potty. It all started because they have a mini toilet at school in the room where they do diaper changes. While Hudson isn't ready for potty training, he LOVES the toilet. So they sit him on it before diaper changes and he flushes it and 'cleans' himself and just loves it even though he doesn't do anything on it. So, we got a potty at home to continue his interest and to mimic the behavior at school. So anytime he even passes the bathroom now, he runs in and sits on the potty (fully clothed) and then flushes the real toilet and grabs toilet paper. It's all very adorable, and it certainly can't be a bad thing since the eventual goal is potty training.
Tonight, just before bathtime I undressed him and placed him on the potty. He sat for a bit, and I didn't even notice at first, but I looked and there I saw it...HE WENT PEE PEE IN THE POTTY!!!! I couldn't believe it and started freaking out with excitement. He knew something crazy happened because mama was going nuts with joy! I just kept saying 'you went pee pee in the potty' over and over and kept showing him what it looked like in the potty! It was hilarious and we had ourselves a little celebration. He then sat down and stood up about 3 more times in hopes that I would react the same ; )
I took a picture to send on over to Daddy, but I'll spare the blog and just post a cute video of him 'playing' with it instead.
