Hudson's known Luella since he was 7 months old and she was 10 months old as they've always been in the same class at daycare. She was always enough ahead of him developmentally that they never really seemed to engage much...and then somewhere around when Hudson was more of a toddler, 18 months or so, he formed a massive crush on her. Massive. As in, lurching out of my arms when he sees her in the morning and running towards her yelling 'Lella! Lella' as he gives her a huge hug and kiss. It then evolved into hearing stories from teachers that they joke that Hudson's her 'personal assistant'; he'll clear her dishes at lunchtime, push her on the tricycle outside, and basically do whatever she wants. Pretty savvy on her part for a 2 year old, huh? Well, he's smitten, and I don't blame him. She's truly adorable and engaging and just old enough that it is probably fascinating to him.
