It seems that in that last month between Hudson being 1 and now 2, he grew up an insane amount! We keep thinking back to the way he was in December and developmentally just can't believe all that he's accomplished now that he is officially 2.
Here's an update so we can remember!
-mastered ABCs, twinkle twinkle, singing in general all the time (we love it), and can really carry a tune!
-repeats everything you say and do, mimicking gestures etc., so interested in learning new words, seems to learn dozens of words a day and remembers them instantly
-obsessed with trains (will sit and watch videos of just model trains going around their tracks)
-obsessed with tunnels (gets excited as we approach one in the car, then immediately asks for more more!), wants to make a tunnel out of anything he can crawl under or into
-swimming - lays on his belly in the bath, and practices his big cheeks/close eyes/arms swimming motion all the time
-sentences - he really only said a few phrases properly and now suddenly it's just normal, 'I sit down too', uses proper pronouns, it's amazing
-he's mastered the shape sorter but likes to play and still 'try' the others
-does not know colors
-loves 'circle time' at school (story or sing along)
Just trying to remember for the future....
