Walking!

Axel's been a bit more careful than I had thought he'd be, but he's been gradually progressing day by day over the course of a few weeks.  And as of today he suddenly started choosing to walk over crawl almost exclusively.  He's officially upright!

Someone's been loving their egg breakfast - can't get it to him fast enough!

After eating more than 3 scrambled eggs, a cup of cheerios, and then being given a big boy sandwich (sunbutter and jelly),the Ax-man was very happy!  He was being too adorable trying to look 'around' the camera at me as I filmed him...I could watch these all day (well, I have actually).

HTR on the pump track

Hudson's a bike riding fan - a big one.  He especially loves going mountain bike riding with Dad.  Luckily, our friend Chris told us about this perfect pump track while we were up in Tahoe at Kirkwood this weekend.

We've got a Crawler!

It's been way more fun than I ever imagined watching Axel go through all the steps in figuring out how to crawl.  I think because we know what to expect with #2, we've been able to spot the signs and watch him truly go through each and every stage before actually mastering his technique.

And he's an official crawler ever since!  He's still pretty slow and steady and hardwood floors are slippery on his pants - but he's all over the place!

After just a few days at daycare Axel started 'talking' so much more, it's been very entertaining.


Hudson's becoming a pro at entertaining Axel, especially because he's learned he barely has to do much!
