Sleepover!

Hudson and Miles have basically been best buds since their early daycare days before they were even 1 year old.  Truth be told, Jaclyn and I (Miles' mom) were already friends, but the boys' friendship has made us all much closer.  It's great because the kids see eachother's parents often at school pickups so everyone is very comfortable.  When Jaclyn and Russel were in need of childcare for a night when they were going out of town, it felt like a no brainer that we would have a blast having Miles sleep at our house.  So I picked the boys up together from daycare, Miles' bags were packed, and the excitement began.  The pics help tell the story of Miles' fun energy and how much Hudson loves to laugh with him.

Gma/Gpa Sport Camp

Ferry Building Dock in SF
Grandma and Grandpa Roth came to visit at the end of April and we had the best time!  They are definitely doers, and I got a peek into what life might have been like in the early years of Brian's childhood.  If Hudson and Brian's play weren't already sporty enough, this week long visit was truly sport camp all day every day - and Hudson LOVED it.  I think we are starting to see one diligent and determined little guy...he never gives up!

Feeling ambitious, we took Hudson to our local driving range....

Can you see the ball in the air?!

Here's a video to capture the first lesson from Dad in action.

And just several hours later, our little energizer bunny was holding his own with the paddle.

Hudson absolutely loved this visit with his Grandparents.  He's at an age where he is really bonding with them and loving every moment while they are visiting.  Looking forward to many more sporty visits!
