Urban slide

We went to a birthday at a park where we were instructed to 'bring a piece of cardboard for the slide' - ???? Upon arrival we saw that there was a huge cement slide that gets lines of kids all day long to ride down it on the cardboard platform. I was pretty scared by it (it was really big, seemed super dangerous if you fell, etc), but of course, Dad and Hudson couldn't resist.

Waterpark

On our last day in HP, Hudson played with BB at the HP waterpark. He was in a 'weary of water' phase, but got comfortable enough for some tricks after an hour exploring.

18 month Peek-a-boo

Hudson's always loved a good peek-a-boo, especially with him leading it as evidence on this very blog.

This particular session started in my childhood room at my parents house, and lasted for at least 20 minutes...we had to break it up onto several videos to keep capturing the hilarity of it! It's so fun to watch him crack himself up!

Bedtime at BB and Papa's

You can tell in these videos we were postponing bedtime as we were just having so much fun with Hudson. My parents especially loved hearing his little voice talking so we just keep making him say the same things over and over. Fun times!

Kitchen fun

Hudson's getting more and more involved in participating in daily life, which of course mostly means the kitchen! He loves watching Brian make coffee (grinding the beans) and especially loves the blender! One of the coolest things now is he can sit and eat (feed himself) right along with us. We had fun filming these everyday milestones while my parents were in town.

Summer with BB and Papa!

BB and Papa came to visit this summer again for a bunch of weeks and we never needed their help more as we had a house move during BBs first week and put her to work! THANK YOU, BB! But once we got settled we had so much fun, as always! We then visited Chicago and had a blast enjoying a true summer with swimming! Hudson is getting more communicative, trying to talk a bit more, and getting great at feeding himself and drinking out of a regular cup. We miss you BB and Papa! Here are the fun pictures and videos.
