Hudson Month 9-10-11

These past few months have been full of new things for the little guy. Hudson's officially crawling, pulling himself up to standing, cruising on furniture and with a walker, and dancing up a storm! He's got more tricks than ever - waving, blowing kisses, and generally just imitating anything he sees us doing. I'm loving it. I'm loving him. Here are the highlights.

Going Mobile

Once a baby starts rolling, it becomes all about gradual mobility. And once they sit up, it starts becoming about upward mobility. We posted when he started his army crawl, then he started pulling himself up on his knees, and then somewhere around Thanksgiving he started crawling on his hands and knees. Then just before the holidays he started pulling himself up to standing (as seen when he's rockin' out). Then, we introduced him to the 'walker.' . . . (highlight at 01:50)

A Holiday Hit

Hudson has found his dancing shoes. Not 3 weeks after Juliet "wishes" for Hudson to enjoy dancing, the guy regularly cuts a rug. Over the holidays he really broke out of his shell.

Related?

The phase only lasted about a week over new year's, but Hudson started making a 'paparazzi' face when we would try to photograph him. I think he thought he was imitating us 'smiling' as we were holding the camera. Grandma Karen thought the 'look' seemed familiar and sent a photo from the past . . .
