We had an absolute blast taking Hudson up to the Sierras last week. We left Sunday morning thinking it would be a couple days, and stuck around for a spring storm dump of 18 inches of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hudson was a champ as usual, the 3.5 hour car ride was a breeze, and the altitude gain (ear popping) seemed to have little effect.
We got to the lake and had to snap some pics.

Considering it was weekdays in late April, the “resort” was very slow which was perfect for Juliet and I to try caring for the Little Man in a ski lodge. There was plenty of space and few dripping wet skiers coming in from the blizzard.

The late season deals were too good to pass up, so we got Hudson his first pair of skis. I sure hope yellow is "in" when he is ready (6feet and 200lbs) to ski these.

Yes, the rumors are true. Hudson has been sleeping through the night, and by 'through the night' I do not mean infant version, I'm talking 11 hours in a row for over a week straight now! Is it wrong to love him more as a result?
